The organization operated with fragmented operational processes, inconsistent governance controls, limited-service management maturity, and a legacy finance platform that no longer aligned with evolving business, reporting, and operational requirements. Existing finance and operational processes lacked standardization, creating inefficiencies, operational risk, and limited scalability across the organization.

To support long-term operational growth and modernization objectives, the organization required an enterprise ERP platform capable of standardizing finance operations, improving reporting visibility, strengthening governance, and supporting integrated business operations across multiple functional areas.

Approach

ProgressIT led an enterprise operational governance and ERP modernization initiative focused on replacing the organization’s legacy accounting platform, strengthening operational governance, standardizing operational processes, and improving service management maturity across the organization.

Key Initiatives

• Assessed operational maturity, governance structures, finance operations, business processes, and application support models across the organization
• Developed enterprise operational policies, governance standards, operational controls, technical procedures, process workflows, and standardized documentation across critical business applications and infrastructure environments

• Replaced the organization’s legacy accounting platform with Microsoft Dynamics AX, implementing an enterprise ERP solution to modernize and standardize financial management, reporting, procurement, operational workflows, and integrated business processes while improving scalability, governance, and operational visibility
• Created, tested, published, and maintained 17 Microsoft Dynamics AX operational training demonstrations and structured learning modules across regional collaboration portals prior to training rollout, ensuring standardized operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and user adoption across all offices
• Delivered operational training and knowledge transfer across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Procurement, and related operational functions, including training designated finance personnel to create, maintain, and publish ongoing training materials and demonstrations across regional collaboration portals
